The Vera Wang Luxe Kimberly wedding dress is a modern princess dress, the lushness of a ballgown but designed in a way that flatters. The silhouetted is executed to flatter the body in all the right places, really flatters bust and waistline. The construction of dress really emphasizes continuous movement. From the bodice to the base of the dress, there are full-length, bias tiers of organza. The layers are uninterrupted, with no seam between the skirt and bodice, giving it this perfect fluidity that really flatters the bodyline. Delicate chantilly lace applique at neckline and train. Ruffled, cascading effect in the bottom of the skirt. This dress was worn 2 hours for a ceremony and is in pristine condition (except minimal fraying at bottom of hem, due to organza fabric). Dress tag 2, dress was altered without cutting any seams - so dress can be let out a bit. Includes sewn in cups and a bustle for the train (though I never ended up bustling). The one place that I had adjusted was the floral decorative piece at the front of the dress - I had minimized so that it looked more natural against the dress.
