My wedding was fancy but not very traditional (we did a restaurant buyout and kept it on the smaller side) and my original plan was that I'd simply buy a non-wedding dress I really loved and only spend a few hundred dollars. Then one of my closest friends sent me an article that featured "wedding dresses with color" and as soon as I saw the colored embroidery Watters Heartleaf I was in love. I google searched and it was at a bridal dress shop about an hour from where I lived. I thought, "I doubt I will love it as much as the picture but I'll go try it on." I got to the store, tried on the dress, and burst into happy tears because I knew it was the dress. In fact, I didn't even try on any other dresses! This dress was the perfect blend of traditional and non-traditional, of sweet and sexy, of princess and boho and glam. I did no alterations and our wedding was fairly mellow so the dress is in almost brand-new condition. I'm 5'10" and this dress is a size 6. I will say that I usually wear a size 8 so I think this is a bit vanity sized / runs large. I really hope this dress goes to someone who loves it as much as I do! Here's what the Watters website says about this dress: "This gorgeous bridal gown inspired by modern folklore is crafted from Tillie Chantilly on soft netting. It features an illusion neckline, flutter sleeves, pearl buttons, and a velvet ribbon sash."
